Admiralty Resident Committee was formed after the General Election 2001 and Mr Frank Seah has been the chairman since.
Geographically, Admiralty Resident Committee comprises of 36 public housing blocks. About 14,000 household units are spread across Blocks Blocks 619 to 631, Blocks 659 to 664 and Blocks 681A to 690F in Woodlands Town.
As a young committee, Admiralty Resident Committee is colored by the plentiful and exuberant community activities organized throughout the years by and for residents. The guiding principle driving the extremely committed and dedicated grassroots leaders and community partners in what they do is to strengthen “the ties that bind”. It reflects commitment of the grassroots leaders and residents of Admiralty to build a community that is bound by strong ties- between the generations, between people of different ethnic groups and between locals and new citizens.
